Difficult to say, it could be a programming error, or it could be just a driver incompatibility, or a race condition.
Looking at the code, it's doing some awful and cursed things, so it sounds like a driver incompatibility (not the driver's fault this time!) than anything else.
What I think is happening, is that it's binding a framebuffer, but the drivers for your tablet only update it when drawing into it, but because this code just spams create+bind+read+uncreate, it never draws into the framebuffer, so it always returns a status code that says that the framebuffer is incomplete? Not sure.

More precisely, selecting for the fourth time one of the action choices available in the list (at random and in any order) it gives me that error. Before, on the other hand, everything works ok, for any choice made. On the fourth, something happens...

I found it funny cause many many years ago, had a roommate in college that did this same dumbass branding of the school logo, but it didn't look anything like it after it healed. Just looked like a birthmark.
