Yup, just to be sure, a 1k resistor, a pico, wire, patience and steady hand are all I need?Just make sure to get a few good dumps before proceeding, as always check your soldering before putting power to it.
Well, I have a couple of picos and the end result seems to be same difference and other flashers (but cheaper).I'm still using an ancient NAND-X, never done the pico route ;p
But yeh, steady hand, cool head space.
I doubt a soft-mod will ever happen, but the newer RGH3 is awesome. I've done over 10 RGH3 mods on 360 units and they are all working great. The RGH3 mod is pretty easy also, other than solder point C5R35. - https://xbox360hub.com/guides/rgh-3-guide/I know people hate that this is asked, but... Will there ever be a softmod method to hack the 360 like it's possible with PS3?
I'm picking up a Kinect tomorrow with Kinect Sports & Adventures, although the game I'd like to play again would be DBZ for Kinect (I had fun playing it). Just don't want to pay so much for a used copy.
