Gaming PS5 no display

Encountered this two days ago. PS5 was working fine then suddenly waking it from standby and there was no display. No matter what I do with PS5 nothing appears on screen.
Turns out resetting the TV solves the problem.
Sharing it here so people know to try this. I am sure someone out there must have experienced this same problem.

Lost HDR yesterday when the system updated itself. Reset TV turns out to the the solution too.

That happened to me with a ps4 in the past too

I actually have a Yamaha surround sound unit that is 3 hdmi in/ 1out, sometimes does same thing, when I first turn on tv and surround, the tv stays black screen, have to turn surround off and on again to get it to display on screen... off topic but figured I'd post anyways.

yeah, problem usually arises when there is more than just a tv and a console involved, like a hdmi switch or a surround unit between them
