I just bought a 256 GB portable SSD to use for MediCat in the field, but the drive I bought is 4096 sectors. Ventoy won't run and Rufus is complaining. Can I clone an existing MediCat disk (64 GB mSATA)?

DISREGARD: I'm going to have to buy a duplicate mSATA drive and adapter.

Hello, I got problems with the tool Pc unlocker for removing passwords. I did like it said and got the successfully reset the password window. I restart the computer but password was stiil there. I tried a second time still nothing happened and when I tried a third time none one my accounts were available with remove tools. I tried to look for others tools Medicat but still the same error " Can't enumerate users in the SAM domain: error opening/accessing SAM registry file. And when i restart the computer I have lusrmgr error. Can you have any idea of what I did wrong and what I can do to finally remove password and error. Thanks in advance.

Download the files DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE FOLDER as a huge ZIP file, downlad each file

You need to download the ventoy_wimboot.img plugin from HERE, and place it in your 'ventoy' directory.
It should look like this:

/ventoy/ventoy_wimboot.img

Then your .wim files should all become bootable. Hope this helps.



Kinda. Just have a lot going on this year. My pet cat Pepé died, family moved up from Cali to Oregon, etc etc. Been very busy with work too. The Discord link on the first page is a good way to get a hold of me. I don't mind pings and/or DMs.

I'm assuming I should just jump on Discord when I have the chance.
I booted up the live windows image with portable apps. I confirmed I am connected to the internet.
Anything I download fails immediately or after a few seconds. I can't save to the USB drive even when running with admin rights? So I try saving to the downloads folder, and it always errors out. I tried turning off the firewall program that it comes with, but nothing.

My hopes were to use this pre-install environment to update my Samsung SSD drives before I install Windows onto them. But I won't be able to install/download the firmware.

Has anybody else experienced this with a fix?
Also, many portable apps will not run with a generic error. These even include the Windows ISO downloader, which runs fine on regular Windows. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

for sure jump on the discord. also is it possible you have the iso set to read only somehow?

Above all, before any action, deactivate all antivirus software, including Defender.
Otherwise, some files will be deleted and MedicatUSB will not work
