Mario Party & Mario Party 2 coming to Switch Online Expansion Pack on 11/2

Nintendo has announced the next Nintendo 64 - Nintendo Switch Online additions. The first two Mario Party games will be coming to the service, both launching on November 2nd. This acts as the first time Nintendo has released multiple Nintendo 64 games to the service simultaneously.

Cool, although I still would like the ability to buy Virtual Console games rather than buy in to the subscription. Doesn't seem like that'll be a thing anytime soon...
I agree, I actually did that with game pass on the series x, I got a bunch of games on sale that were on game pass, then downgraded to just gold for the two free games/month. I do have the expansion pack for the switch. I do like it, because you did get some of the best games of all time while psn plus and Xbox gold seems to be random. And, ever since the removal of 360 games on gold, you have two games that may be shit. I mean they gave you windbound this month, windbound. Haha, though I did buy the game on the switch. :P

And that’s why it’s always morally ok to hack your Switch and correct that

Could be fun with online play, if the connection is actually decent.
Though why leave out the best Mario Party? MP3 ??
Honestly I find that MP1 didn't age very well, the successors are more fun to play.

Cause there is a very limited number of Nintendo 64 games and they need to save stuff to release later?

Like remember how they spread the release of freaking Nes games over a long time?

Weird they re-releasing the first MP, since of all that crap about people hurting their hands with the minigames about rotating the joystick, it wasn't on the wii vc for that reason too.
Unless they gonna maybe mod/hack the way the minigame plays (which would be hypocritical of them, since they hate all that stuff), expect a new wave of broken switch joycons drifting harder than an episode of Initial D, lmao.

Hilariously there is an official Nintendo 64 controller for Switch.

Well hopefully that means we get 007 in December considering they have no more games for 2022

Mario Party 3 will now be January

still not paying for that n64 tier, you can play the n64 mario parties online flawlessly through Dolphin Netplay if you have friends with at least an average PC/laptop.

It's actually shocking how versatile and convenient Dolphin is for playing games online when you include all of the titles on the virtual console, Retroarch and Kaillera don't even come close to how smooth dolphin netplay is though the wii virtual console doesn't exactly have every game
