Is scambaiting for everyone or just seasoned YouTubers?

I'd be wary of downloading anything they tell you to (screen viewing software etc) but in terms of just keeping them on the phone and seeing how much time you can waste, there's very little that can go wrong. Back when I lived with my parents we kept one guy on for like 30 minutes just passing the phone between us. Still no idea what he was trying to shill. Good times.
