I would have just updated switch the vanilla way, I did so before the daybreak days.

It doesn't matter if your switch is banned or not. It will still download the updates.
I let mine download the update then i use Goldleaf to dump it and install with Daybreak.

not true, depends on the type of ban. if you are cert banned(banned from CDN access), you cant even update the fw through ninty servers

Still the same problem.

Another one: I cant boot into sysnand (it goes to hekate boot logo and nothing happens), nor can I turn my switch on with auto rcm disabled.

Firstly, thank you all.

I got it to work. I´ve used cnxpack-updater do update the firmware and it worked. Now I´ve just created emucc and I´m starting to reinstall the games. Let´s see what happens.

I didnt try to boot into sysnand again and wont do.

once you get you EmuNAND working, you can:

• Try to boot on the SYSNAND on safe mode.
• Copy (restore) your emuNAND to your SysNAND
• Or follow one of the guides about recovering you Sysnand (using your emuNAND as "donor") using search function at top of page:

Please, if you can explain a little more about this, it would be nice.

My switch is Banned all i do is connect it to my wifi and when it tells me theres an update ready I just open Goldleaf dump the pending FW.
I dont block anything.
