couple of question's about PS5.

1.i have my PS5 on the side without using the stand. is that good idea or no?
2.i know some games are cross-buy if i buy the PS4 Version i get the PS5 version. what are the difference's between PS4 and PS5 games that are different?

1. side should be fine. less work (as you need to screw the base to use it vertically) and iirc no liquid metal issue
2. it depends. some games will differ. but ps4 games running on ps5 will run as if they were running on a PS4 Pro (4K, sometimes increased framerate) and sometimes they may need patches to run the game at a higher framerate. some games do or don't. but when they make a PS5 version it's made with the console's new features in mind. loading might be faster, game might use haptics/adaptive triggers. sometimes it might just be resolution/framerate. or nothing at all, tbh. it varies too much that it is confusing.

Yeah, and if your a trophy person, some trophies carry over from ps4 to ps5 only, from ps5 to ps4 only, both ways, or not at all. I saw a list someone started for that. It's a confusing mess tbh.

1. Is it the Digital version? You shouldnt use the Disk Version Horizontally without a stand. The whole "Vertical lets the Liquid metal out" thing is pretty bonkers. it happened for a few and in those cases there is suspected that the barriers holding the liquid metal were damaged through hard shocks, like dropping the console to the floor. I have my PS5 for over a year now and it stands Vertically ever since. no Problems.

2. In most cases, better performance, shorter loading, higher resolution and in some cases even better textures and models but thats rare.

Just out of interest: why don't you just use the stand ???

One other difference is that ps4 games can be played from an external, 3.0 (must be 3.0 or higher) or ssd. Ps5 games must be on the internal m2 or the expansion m2. Neither loads from the disc.

The stand goes on the back. The screw will not screw on on the front, so it's very easy to figure out.
