Emulation Best way to play every possible N64 game on wiiu

@pedro702 can you specify what is the exact version where Dr. Mario 64 can be played fine with Not64? Like Turok 3 that runs on Not64 v20200514.
Because tried latest Not64 and i have enabled FB textures but the falling pills are invisible

Dr. Mario 64 the n64 version does not run on any emulator, you can however play it on nintendont on the japanese only release Nintendo Puzzle collection.

was testing the new ps1 emulator update for wii which is amazing

NBA Showtime - NBA on NBC n64 version does not run however you can play the ps1 version just fine on wiisxrx 2022
Rat attack N64 version does not play, however you can play the ps1 version on wiisxrx 2022 just fine.

you overclock not64 same exact way you overclock wii64 there is zero difference, what game are you wanting to try btw?

Various Mario 64 and Paper Mario hacks that work with Not64 but would benefit with the extra power boost. Is there a special forwarder I need to download from somewhere or can I just make my own using TeconMoon's Wii VC injector?

it will ask you to use the gamepad on start even tough not64 doesnt use the gamepad but it was future prof incase extrems ever adds gamepad support xD

dont forget some games to be correctly overclocked need overclock plus cpu clock divider set to 1 on not64/wii64 settings
while other just need overclock and leavue the cpu clock divider in slot 2 , try both options and see which handles better.

Madden football 64 confirmed working in not64 20222121 so one more game playable xD

Hydro Thunder the games doesnt boot in any format, however there is a collecion called midway arcade treasures 3 on the gamecube that has this game and you can run that on nintendont so its a way.

Hey @pedro702, i have tested today the PS1 version of Hydro Thunder (the NTSC-U one) on latest WiiStation and the game boots and plays fine.
Maybe you want to update this outdated entry with this new one?

well gamecube version is superior in every way to ps1 version so if you cant play n64 version the gamecube one should be the one to go to and not the ps1 version

Xbox 360 had a HD Remaster edition and it looks and plays incredibly well, yet it was never released on PS3/PS4/PS5. That sucks.

The Dreamcast port of Hydro Thunder is really good, too. Don't bother with the PS1 version as that's the worst one of the bunch.

afaik if you hack your switch you can use n64 pc emulator on it and they are all close to 100% compatibility so no issue there, nintendo owned emulators will never have 100% compatibility because they only need it to run like 30 games ta best.

Hi pedro702 ...Tested quite a bit with different N64 lately...What do you find of N64oid.apk on android? (seems better than mupen which is surprising) I notice it was fastest and the best to emulate Gauntlet Legends which seems one of the hardest to emulate....​

Played the living shit out of it a few weeks ago, lemme try to find it. worst case, at least it'll still let you unlock all the stages and characters, which I did. bearly got back into getting 64 games so I forgot which one I've been playing it on, I just remember rn I have 2, the wii64 that makes the water in that game look like shit and another on my vWii that plays it fine and alot of SM64 hacks and games that wont work on the other one..its Not64 but idk which version. Also thanks for all your research I'll be using it and it reminded me to get Cruis'n USA

wii64 has gone a long way latest versions are almost up to latest not64.
