Hardware Absolute fix to 160-1400 error

My Wii U has had this error since early 2020.
i don’t have any experience in soldering, but what equipment/components do I need to do the fix?
also, could someone precisely explain how to do the fix (the images dont really explain anything)

could someone make a list of instructions (preferably with images) that I could show to a specialist so that they could do the repair for me without accidentally messing up my console?

the uploader already explained everything in minute details its clearly mentioned 2 filters who are probably at fault in this error everything is mentioned in post along with motherboard pictures where those filters are located ...it seems you arent into soldering experience ill advice you not to proceed yourself instead give it to some repair guy show him this post along with those 2 filters on motherboard he will check it himself and bridge the filter or change the filter accordingly .as i said .there is no rocket to understand this post i dont know why you are confused the guy who posted it clearly mentioned every details he also uploaded pictures of motherboard where those 2 filters are located all one have to do is open the system and change those filters or bridge the faulty one with wire in parallel

Asking for somebody else to do is indeed a better idea than attempting this yourself if you never soldered before.
As with all skills: Soldering needs practicing. A lot of practicing. You will mess up things at first, no doubt. If you want to try it, get some scrap electronics and some practicing kits. Get a feeling for how the stuff acts (there a plenty of tutorials out there for getting started).

SMD (surface mounted device) soldering on tiny points of a device you care for is not the way to begin. Really, those things are absolutely minuscule.

Somebody with good soldering experience should be able to do it with the pictures and information given in the first post.

Hello, here with another report
i had to open my 32 GB Wii U after long time of fixing it because it wasn't giving any display through the HDMI and i noticed something...pretty familiar down the HDMI port lines
They also have filters...labeled CM7 and CM8, 4-line filters, and guess what? one of them didn't had full continuity
So i did the same thing i did with the drive filters, except harder because these filters are 4 lines instead of 2 and now i have display back
It seems ALL of the filters in the console are really bad quality, so take that in count

thanks for the update can you answer a question was the console not giving any hdmi signal including after setting in 480p??? it was giving 480p output in hdmi but not 1080p and 720p in hdmi

it wasn't giving output in any resolution output, not even 480p, changing the resolution was the first thing i tried, but it didn't work

okk buddy your post has helped and guided many people to fix there wii u with this error including mine i got a wii u as broken for cheap with same error and fixed it using the hints from your post
