my trip to algeria

It was quite great, I went there to see my family and a few friends. One of my older cousin was getting married but weddings in Algeria are a bit different, it lasts a few days were we are as loud as we can with music we put stereo at max all day, while we work, while we eat, etc. so everyone can come and dance whenever. Then there are guests the day before the last day and they dance and eat. On the last day it is the moment for the couple to exchange rings and finally be officially married, this is done in a reserved place made for that.

I also went there to go to the beach and see the beautiful mountains there is in Algeria.

Nice pictures there. Not used to seeing houses along ridgelines of hills like that, at least not without the rest of the hills also being populated.

On some picture(s) (second/fifth/sixth) I get a very "strange" feeling......Looks like from a PC Game.....
Because you can see how realistic the graphics are today .... or you can loose more and more the relation to reality ....:mellow:

@FAST6191 yeah it is very common to enter a building, go to the basement apartments and have a balcony and windows.

They don't usually build houses on hills like that - due to landslides, I guess they don't get many landslide in Algeria - or planning laws are 'different'. Still glad you had a good time. To be honest though - most places in the world have lovely mountains (apart from Holland) and nice scenery to look at. I love the mountains on the German/Austrian border area, the Caribbean Islands, South Africa, Scotland......etc.
But as the old saying goes - home is where the heart is, the fact you were surround by your family and friends and having a good time made your trip great - however you should visit other places in the world a there's lots of very nice places and people to meet.
