Gaming xbox 360 update with flashed 360

I went to play def jam icon and crackdown( the first time i have ever played them) it wont let me play the games without updating my 360 however my xbox 360 is flashed will i get a brick if i update

It depends what firmware you using, can't remember whats the minimum for the last firmware update, or you see the 3 red lights and have to update to a newer firmware. Your better waiting for tomorrow anyway. Another xbox 360 update is due that is meant to ban all modded xbox 360. Commodore4ever has written a new firmware xtreme 5.3 which is meant to stop them banning you. More information about this is on xbox-scene.
