Hacking Xbox 360 fake overheating

I got two xbox 360 Jtag, and kept it for 3 years since playing the ps4,
And now when i revist the xbox 360, after aurora boots up, maybe one minute or two..it shutsoff.. no errror or such ,
I tried the second xbox360..and it happend again..on freestyle dashboard after a minute or two..it shutsoffs..
Anyone has same issue..i youtube it and found youtuber sthethix, and has solution,,but require soldering skills. Which i lack

Xbox 360s the original models assuming you don't have a Slim are the worst consoles ever made when it comes to overheating, so millions had the same issue.

Do you use the same power supply for both? Potentially it is the power supply.

Btw..its a xbox360 s, corona
Not sure what modchip is..but both are corona motherboard since its early 2011,

I use the same powersupply for both jtags,.
I use the same powersupply for my non mod xbox..and it doesnt have the issue

Weird. Perhaps the thermal paste is too old and then it overheated? Can you check the temp on Aurora when its on and check the temperature?

check the power brick. red means there's a problem. see if the light is turning red when it shuts off.

check for dust, remove the dumbass metal lid, replace thermal paste, reverse the fan to blow into the console

id recommend removing the dvd drive and use two jasper cpu heatsinks

when tuning the xbox 360S (corona) on, the powerbricks becomes red to green,, when automatic shutting down still green then turn red afterwards.
i have been told that there is a capacitor needed to remove as these and make a bridge,became bad due to time..

Thats possible. You can try open the console, try to find the bulging capacitors, and replace them with new caps with equal values.

go with a slightly higher capacitor voltage

If the console was stored in a high humidity area with little air movement, over a long period of time, it can cause certain components to go bad, can also cause the thermal paste loosing touch with the CPU..

I don't even play my jtag, never really did, and I have 2 of them. it's still plugged in, and it's been that way for about 12 years. there's never been any sort of problem with it. I do turn it on every now and then to make sure it's still working or to test a particular game or feature for someone, since I know almost as much about the 360 as the ps3.

i checking changing the thermal, changing power chords, power source, and the power bricks,..still shutsdown,..
they told me that there are capacitors needed to remove

not so sure hope this resistor bridging fix is nothing to them.

my first PS3 downgrade was too costly. since downgrading was needed a chip..and soldering

i just cant trust my soldering skills even though i invest on it. damn
