Hey everyone !
I’m new here and was being told by guys at Reddit to come with my following question :
Why won’t my Xbox read my burned disc ?
It’s a 8,5 GB DVD+R DL which is meant to be playing a game downloaded from a torrent site .
But it doesn’t - instead , it always says : disc unreadable , even though I easily managed to download the game from the DVD to the Hard Drive.
One guy told me that it’s the LayerBreak which is meant to be a specific number , I found LB : 213350 or so , but with this I killed 7 DVDs . And auto-obtain doesn’t help either .
I’m burning my DVDs using ImgBurn and burned 3 DVDs without any issues , so what am I doing wrong ??

that layer break doesn't sound right, the original xgd2s had a layer break at or around 1,900,000. I can't remember the exact number and I don't know what it is for xgd3, but that number looks funny.

What type of media are you using?
Did you patch your backups with ABGX?

What do you mean ? I’m new to all this
It’s a torrent file , unpacked you can choose between an iso and an ImgBurn Image data .
It’s a XGD3 torrent and I’ve set up everything like I should (there was a description how to burn the dvd properly)

Yes I have , I guess

Otherwise I wouldn’t have asked...cuz I burned 3 DVDs without a thing , and now I tried this one being my first problem

No it’s right I got that one from a nice website , which hadn’t had one peer (LB= 2.133.520) .
I need help .

Just burn select the dvd file to burn the ISO.
Is it possible to do it with the proper Win 10 burner ????
What’s the difference between PAL and XGD3 ? I have both files

You guess you have a flashed drive?

Sorry mate but you do need a hacked console to play backups on, you should atleast know if you got a flashed drive or JTAG/RGH machine.
It's not as easy as just downloading a game, burning it on a disc and calling it a day.

Anyway, you need to stealth patch your games with ABGX360, burn them on Verbatim DVD+R DL at 4x speed in IMGburn.
XGD3 games need a burner compatible with the Burner Max Payload tool
IMGBurn automatically grabs the ISO file if you select the DVD file to be burnt.
ABGX creates a proper DVD file with the correct layerbreak.
idk why you're so on about it but it's almost been a decade and nothing much changed in the way of burning backups.

If you don't stealth patch games, games might refuse to boot, crash, say the disc is unreadable and flag your console for a ban.
Verbatim is known for its high quality DVDs, lower quality DVDs might work but your success may vary.

pal? you mean dvd. a .dvd. just contains a layer break. you can record it into imgburn or do it manually without the need for a .dvd file. it just makes things easier. xgd3 = xbox game disc version 3. xgd2s are the first 360 discs. xgd3 can use up to around a GB more data. xgd2 discs, iirc, were either 7.05GBs or 7.29GBs. I don't know what xgd3s are, but it's probably 8GB+ by default. all of that is the game, security sectors (what you need to patch discs for), and padding. I've seen some 360 games be less than a GB, but they still are padded to those two/three/four sizes.

213350. I knew it had to be at least one million.
I didn’t have had the last number in my head

For a moment I didn’t get it what a flashed drive is , but I have one ( as I already mentioned I’ve burnt 3 DVDs the same way before and they work)

well, I was going to say that that could be the problem. I think a failed burn comes up as mixed media disc, since the disc is detected but the system doesn't understand it.

Seems there's no verified rip in the database.
This doesn't necessarily mean that it's unsafe to use on Live (home rips might display this) but it can lead to uncounted errors.
Personally I wouldn't risk it, best to rip the game and dump it on a JTAG/RGH machine.

Anyway, I'd say find a different source of the disc.
I know for a fact that Forza 4 has verified rips.
Hell, Forza 4 was one of the games that had to be repatched and reburned every time MS did an update until c4eva came with the silver bullet to put AP 2.5 to rest.
