Hi all, finally, I got this game and mod works great.

Of course, 1.0.2 cheat works with 1.0.3 so you only need change the BID, that all.

Yo-Kai Watch 1 save editor that was designed for 3DS will not work if you want to add Yo-Kai, however it works if you add items.

Worked great. I have 1 question and 1 suggestion to fix if possible

1) is it possible to fix the spacing in the players name? When I try to put "Katie" it displays like "K a t i e" in all dialogue boxes and everywhere meanwhile the english names for the NPCs looks normal like Bear is still "Bear" and not "B e a r" and Eddie is still "Eddie" and not "E d d i e" like if it was a players name

2) not sure if this is a missed translation or untranslatable because it is an image and not a text maybe but the traffic light crossings when you press them and I think it should say "Wait" is still in Japanese

The game is on 1.3.0, do the cheats still work past 1.0.2-1.0.3? Because i can't get them to work
EDIT: nvm, i got it working. I tried a few earlier which didn't work and made my switch panic crash. But i found out 1.0.3 don't exist and assumed you meant 1.3 so i tried again with some other cheats and it worked.

thnx, don't think i would have tried changing the BID otherwise

Alright ladies and gentlemen Mod version 1.0.8 has officially been released! This update fixes 98% of bugs that have been reported for the game while running the mod and the other remaining 2% will be fixed in the what should be final 1.0.9 future mod update that will release once it’s done. This 1.0.8 release also adds various new image replacements and polishing across the board for quality of life improvements. Enjoy!

Super glad to hear you’ve been enjoying the mod! Working on a new YW4 update as we speak will be diving into that head first along with Blasters 2!

Does this only work on emulator? I have been trying to get it to work on my broken switch and have had no success so far.

I only play on official hardware and create my mods for the same but it works on both official hardware and Emulators. Just make sure your game is updated to the latest update and then just drag and drop the mod into your contents folder. Everything runs off of RomFS to replace the files in game. I’ve also provided a README with the mod for further details to help.

I was able to successfully install the mod, but now I am encountering trouble with the cheats. I'm using edison and it is saying that the title version/region doesnt match. Any advice?

I have it working with the translation mod, but during gameplay it’s blurry. All the cut scenes and game menu show up clear. it’s only game play that’s blurry. Otherwise this is awesome, if you or anyone has any ideas how to fix the blurriness that would be great. This is using Yuzu.



When I play using ryujinx, everything is mostly fine, but the biggest issue I have is I’m not able to swap yokai. The controls just stop working and I have to exit out of ryujinx, because I’m not able to return to in game.
