Wiimmfi doesn't require you to change your DNS.
this thread is not for AltWFC.
but you can change how you setup your network like this:
mask (subnet), can be 255.255.255.0 if you only change the last part of the IP : 10.0.0.x
on one of your computers with internet access, go to your network setting and set internet sharing for your internet connexion, this will allow you Wii to use the computer instead of the router as gateway to get out of your LAN.
Set that computer's connection to a fixed IP : 10.0.0.135 (or whatever number you like), subnet 255.255.255.0, DNS 10.0.0.138 (I guess 138 is your router's IP? or a private OpenDNS server?), DNS2 (202.136.43.75)
On your Wii :
IP : 10.0.0.136 (another fixed IP, unused in your network)
mask: 255.255.255.0
gateway: 10.0.0.135 (your computer's IP sharing his network with other users on the LAN)
DNS : now you can set the DNS you want here. Don't put the router's IP as DNS.

and the best part? It didn't seem like there was any latency issues either.
