Whats so bad about the CP? They are nice and comfortable to me and work alot better for smooth movement and tapping in motions then analogs.
You know how some people complain about dashing vs walking in Kid icarus: Uprising? or having a "run button" in SM3DL? Those wouldn't be issues if the CP had a much greater travel distance, which would allow better "pressure based" detection of speed. Yeah, the CP can do that, but nowhere near as extensively or effectively as a typical analog stick. Otherwise, you wouldn't need "hard"/"double" tapping of the circle pad or holding run button to dash.

Well, its not that bad, in most of those games your either going to be walking or dashing, plus the whole dashing thing is just Sakurais style. All the systems the Smash bros games were on consoles with analogs and it still had tap dashing and the whole SM3DL thing was probally because its a platformer and that would ask for more quick start-up and quick-stop then a pressure sensitive stick or slider would allow.

Like Super Bash Sisters, the game that can use analog sticks?

I have a feeling the controls would have been the same regardless of using analog sticks.
