Hacking Question What would happen if i kept using L4T Ubuntu or Android or Lakka

I remember reading that using either Lakka Ubuntu or android will wear the hardware faster than using HOS to play either emulated games or downloaded games

can anyone tell me which part will wear down if i kept using Lakka Ubuntu or Android

I assume because of the higher clock speeds you can access in Lakka? Wasn't the maximum there 2.1ghz?

lets say i wont overclock the switch in any of those would i still put a big burden on the switch rather than staying on HOS to do emulation and stuff?

I would say most likely not.

On the other hand, the Switch wasn't designed with running Lakka and Android in mind so its hard to tell what the long-term consequences are.

If you use anything at all it will wear down eventually . The switch is a tablet, your going to get less battery lifetime if you use higher clock speeds or some programs/games as opposed to others. It doesnt matter what OS you use including horizon.
If your super paranoid you can always leave it behind a glass case though .
Your odds are much higher you will brick your switch within the next 5 years from incorrectly updating Hos, than your switch’s battery being completely consumed.
