Hi everybody again, lol.

I started this thread to get things out of the way in regards to ban's and the TX SX OS.

I myself have been doing a lot of testing, on my main consoles as well as my harem of other consoles. If you are worried about something causing a ban whilst using the SX OS, please ask me, to test it for you.

Just to get things started, you can inbox me if you want, but if you ask the question here that way everybody will able to see.

If you only have one Nintendo Switch console, you are NEVER to go online whilst within SX OS. The second you connect online your Nintendo Account (NOT your Nintendo Switch, will be banned instantly). Whilst in the SX OS menu, if you are asked to update the software in question, or update your system, it is safe to do so. However after the update has been completed, and you are using your main account with your remain Nintendo account on the selected software, you MUST MAKE sure WiFi is turned off after update of the software. If you launch 'your' backup with internet connected, the Nintendo Account linked to the profile used to launch the backup will cease to exist.

It's best to have a throwaway account at all times.

Also can you post a picture of the message on switch and PC of the ban that you speak of. I would like to see the status page and the error codes.

Only because you haven't been banned instantly, that doesn't mean that you can't be banned later on. Do you have any proof that it's safe to update the system or games while you're using SX OS? I wouldn't recommend anyone to go online in any way with a hacked console until we know more. There's still much unknown about how Nintendo can detect hacks and how they proceed when they've detected someone who did unauthorized modifications to his system.

I can confirm this because I've been doing it all day.

I am updating a game as we speak whilst I'm out shopping, I have done all the necessary tests before I went and blabbed and made a thread.

I'm fairly confident that you won't get banned if you have used backups that aren't your own on SX OS whilst OFFLINE and then resumed to stock FW to play online.

I can confirm this on 3 consoles, I'll deal with number for later tonight and I'm probably going to buy another one tomorrow so I can have at it.

I have a spare Switch that I use for SX OS. If you boot into official firmware you can update the games. In theory, I don't think this would be a ban risk as they just register as physical games that are not plugged in. I did this the night before last and I can still access online. Though, I do not have a Nintendo Account linked to this Switch.

Obviously, I'm not saying that it's safe to update like this, but so far my Switch is okay.

Otherwise, I just leave it in aeroplane mode

I think they just mean you could get banned in a months time if Nintendo gather loads of consoles to ban in a ban wave.
This is something they did with 3DS consoles I think.

So you are safe now, but could be banned in the future due to something you did yesterday/today.

man, this is a long game, you have no idea of what kind of data gets sent to Nyn while updating system or games.
So don't say you're 100% safe if you turn your wifi off afterwards, you don't know jack.

Man -i just made another account and im gonna play mk online. Try a game. As I said before in my previous thread that these are sacrificial lamb switches, so follow my progress and then we'll see what goes on.

- what happened to your nintendo account? did it just vanish/got deleted? what happened to the eshop purchases if the said account used to purchase them is deleted?
- still related to eshop purchases, anyone has Jackbox party and Just Dance games? I am curious to know if a banned switch linked to a Nintendo account that purchased the Jackbox games and Just Dance Unlimited subscription (its a subscription service that lets you stream and access their online songs database), can still play the game (in the case of jackbox) and enjoy the songs that JDU provides?
- is 2124-4025 the only code you receive confirming you are banned?
- if you make a sacrificial account, will it still let you play the eshop games purchased by your main account while logged in as the sacrificial account?

Honestly, depends on what you do really. You're best bet is to stay offline while using Homebrew period.

I have already a plenty of games bought from the eshop, now that im waiting my sx pro to arrive i wanna know something
Do i need Internet connection to make it work? To run the games?
This affects playing online with the games that i already bought?
