are you still getting the "No favorites selected" error? If so , it is exactly because you told the loader to list favorites and you didn't mark any games as favorite. Toggle listing favorites to off by clicking the first icon ("star") on the top icon bar.
You should be more adventurous with the buttons and settings of the apps you are using.

Hello,

by quickly reading your messages, one thing saddens me, concerning the installation of your cios.

are you on the old wii and not on the vwii mode of the wii U??

which cios did you install, and which guide did you follow??

because the installation of the cios of the wii and the vwii mode of the wii U are not the same.

can you post a syscheck report here (LINK IN MY SIGNATURE), please, Thanks

Important EDIT: And yes like jeannotte mentioned If you use a Wii than this is totally WRONG
Select cIOS: v10 beta52 d2x-v10-beta52-vWii
because this is for the vWii (v=virtual) on the WiiU. You need the dx2 patches for the Wii!! So pls post a Syscheck in a spoiler.
From the mentuoned guide:

Just for information, the loader IOS (58 or 249,250,151) is primary to recognize the drive, check for games and display them. If a GC Game is started, it starts Nintendont and the IOS 58 will be reload. When a Wii game is started the game IOS cIOS will be reloaded to 249, 250 or 251. The difference is, IOS 58 has standard USB 2.0 support which is nearly compatible with each external drive. The CIOS has a dx2 patch with a extra modul called "mini ehci" which a lot of drives have compatibility Problems with and only support port 0, thats back lower on on Wii.
Thats why i sayed try with IOS 58 as loader IOS.

Pls dont mess around with the external drive for the moment and try to load the GC games from SD Card only. Try with Nintendont directly and use a standart full size .iso . In Nintendont they will be displayed in black color, not in red (shrunked) like you use for Zelda. You see the meaning of the color in Nintendont in the top : "Colors : 1:1 Shrunk FST CISCO Multi"

dol path :
USB Loader GX : SD://apps/usbloader_gx/boot.dol
Nintendont : SD://apps/nintendont/boot.dol

This should be on SD

And check in Settings -> custom Path that this path (SD:/apps/Nintendont/) is used, because yours called Nintendont with big "N"

Game File path: USB://games/Mario Kart Double Dash [GM4P01]/game.iso
- > The disc iso must be named game.iso, "game" (g + a + m + e), NOT a titlename, not be a folder
So this is wrong:

Check Settings in USB Loader GX for use with Nintendont :
Loader Settings :
  • Loader IOS : 58 or 249,250,251 (The IOS to load the games, not to play them)
  • Game IOS (for Wii games only): 249,250,251 (To play Wii games)
  • Quick boot : Off (when "On" a selected game doesn't show options menu before launching)
  • --- GameCube Settings ---
    • Gamecube source : SD (What do you want to see SD, USB, or both and which order)
    • Gamecube Modus : Nintendont
  • ---DM(L) + Nintendont : ---
    • Videomodus : Auto
    • Progressiv : Off (video mode output)
    • force Widescreen : Off
    • Debug : Off
    • Disc-Select Promt : Off
  • --- Nintendont ---
    • Auto boot : On
    • Settings file : No change
    • Remove Read Speed Limit : On
Drive options :
  • Mount USB at boot : Off (off for use of SDCard only)

Custom path :
  • GameCube : SD:/games/ (This is normaly to set the USB drive game path)
  • SD GameCube : SD:/games/ (This is the standard or alternative if no USB is found or attached)
  • Nintendont Loader path: SD:/apps/nintendont/

If you use a external USB drive: (recommended Fat32)
  • Drive options : (for use a external drive)
    • game/install partition : fat32/ntfs (drivesize) (Shows the used drive format and size if recognized correctly)
    • Multipartition off : Off (one partition only is recommended)
    • USB Port : port 0 for use with loader cios 249/250/251, port 0 or 1 for use with loader IOS 58 (set game cIOS 151)
    • Mount USB at boot : On
    • Installation : gamename [gameID]
    • Game split size : split all 4gb

I did get it working with all the games with my usb driver. Using Nintendont instead of usb loader.

Honestly after trying a install and following the steps if it didnt work. I would try again.
I did try the https://gbatemp.net/threads/beginne...g-wiiware-vc-vackups-gamecube-backups.400975/

The wii is version 4.3.

this is how its loaded on my usb drive. Which now nintendont sees and lets them play the games. went in the nintendont settings even made it create a save file. I had tried cios https://drive.google.com/file/d/1E-aq_6Qwem1xSnvjx8otlbFT9cqaFaoG/view link and eventually tried and they had https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Vkk4ezH9y0qU56is9XAbivWRYGrmW7AE/view which had which included the usb loader, wii back up manager, and d2x custom ios installer.

followed the instructions even though as of right now I don't have any Wii games. That's something I might look into the future but wasn't what was important. trying the system check up > with the new sd card but it didn't load it in the home brew channel. tried my original old sd card 4 gbs kingston sd hc 4gb i tried putting the system check on it but it didnt appear on homebrew. I tried the new Lexar 32 gb it also didnt show in the home brew channel.

I mean when I did it earlier in the screen shots the game cube in the usb loader and showed it seeing the sd card. I tried 3 different ones (sd)/Memory cards.

But I did do as I was advised earlier changing it to 58 and on the usb drive I no longer have cios loader installed on the usb drive. So I appreciate you guys trying to help me. I'm grateful and glad that at this point my son and spouse have been able to play their games with all that was going on to help distract them.

I would love for it to work on the sd card but I don't know if the sd card on the wii is damaged but I do find it strange in the earlier posts it shows sd card as one of the drives in the loader settings.
