Hacking USB Loader GX installing slowly on vWii

I recently decided to install USB Loader GX on my vWii and I decided to install a game (Wii Sports Resort) but it's transferring at an extremely slow speed (10KB/s).

Before I start trying to transfer it, I get greeted with 'Error creating path: usb1:/wbfs/WSP2 EU(P) [RZTP01]' once or twice when trying to install it, with it allowing me the third time.

It allows me to install the first 20MB or so fairly quickly, going at 3MB/s, but I'm not entirely sure whether that's caching from previous install attempts. After that, it slowly goes down to the 10KB/s I mentioned earlier.

Is there any way to make it go faster? I'm using an 8GB Lexar flash drive, which I've used for multiple occasions, such as an install device for Linux Mint and a place to store my Wii U save files etc.

I reformatted it earlier as one FAT32 partition with the Disk Management tool in Windows. Also if this helps, I also get this screen where the percentage bar is blank and it doesn't show an ETA or anything if I cancel and try again without reopening the app. I'm also unable to cancel it in this state, forcing me to power off my Wii U (by unplugging it, since holding the power button did nothing).

If it helps as well, the Wii U part of my Wii U is unmodded, only the Wii side is. I used setup from CTGP Revolutions guide, as well as some stuff from another guide on this forum.

Try to exclude problems with the USB flash drive itself from the list of problems.
Try (re)formatting your USB flash drive by using FAT32format GUI or, for example, by using Macrorit Partition Expert. They allocate partition differently.
Try testing your USB flash drive for read/write errors. For example, by using Flash Drive/Card Tester (USB Flash Drive Tester) or other programs for testing USB flash drives.

I've had problems with hard drives in the past due to how the Wii U distributes power, I bought a hard drive in the past (which I'm fairly sure is just a USB to SATA enclosure tbh) and it never appeared with the Wii U (although I didn't know about GUIformat at the time and I was messing around with a Minitool app). I'm fairly certain there's nothing wrong with it, after all, I've used it to install an operating system in the past to another computer and it was fine.

It should ideally take 15 or 20 minutes to write something to the entire hard drive (e.g. disk image backups).

I'm gonna try formatting it with GUIformat and hope that fixes things. Formatting it was a bit of a pain anyways, since it had a EFI partition and a primary partition as Ventoy was on that drive before.
