i am hoping less or similar, but that statement about the parts being inflated because of corona virus concerns me

They said that any firmware will do (u can update to any firmware ) BUT i would recommend you to not update just in case.

Yea right. You could sell the SX OS license here or anywhere else if you don't need it. Just make sure to not activate it before.

Isn't the license embedded into SX Pro? AFAIK it doesn't have a separate license key that you could sell.

Never had SX Pro, just the license. But as far as I know the license is separate from the product itself.

So will this thing allow booting of Android?

Yes and No. Patched non-Mariko systems should be able to boot android just fine.
Mariko/Lite systems will not be able to boot android until somebody ports android to them (they use different hardware & current Linux/Android builds will not boot and could potentially break shit)

Everyone is out of job and staying home, with no money and nothing to do - modchip the Switch and playing free games is urgently needed.

Just go for the RCM method
It's easier and more tested (aswell as more supported)

Unfortunately it could take weeks from now IMO. I was really hyped but it doesn't look good. I've read that even testers haven't got their modchips yet.
