Hacking Homebrew Trying not to brick

I got Haxchi installed on my USB Device for my Wii U. I bought a bigger USB device for the wii u now and tried to copy haxchi over to the system storage, this doesnt work however. I can start the wii u without haxchi / usb device but im not too sure on what to do now. I need haxchi on my new USB device. Should I just reinstall haxchi and go through the whole homebrew process again? im kinda lost

Haxchi should be installed on the system memory, not the USB device. But you might want to look into the more recent hacks, though. Can't help you with those, since I stayed with Haxchi, myself. I'm not fixing something that isn't broken.
