Hacking [Tool] Fusée Gelée Launcher for MacOS

It works fine with the usb ports on my macbook pro 2014. I think it requires usb 3. To check if you have usb 3, go to the apple icon>about this mac>System Report>USB
Under USB device tree, it'll say what kind of usb port you have

I don't have usb 3.

Hmmm that's strange I always thought that my mac had 2.0 but turns out it does have 3.0

Yea, usually usb 3 ports are blue, but since it's apple, of course they aren't.

Use this on your mac. Tested on my macbook air 2015 model. No drivers or any type of install except NEED TO USE CHROME

Lol I already tried that and did not work but I will try again.

EDIT:tried it and it's stuck at "Requesting access to device..." like always :/

Paste these into terminal. Press enter after each one.

brew install python3
brew install libusb
python3 -mpip install pyusb
python3 -mpip install tkinter

Then double click the macOS launch.command

I've had similar errors installing packages for python 3, to do with ssl, and couldn't figure out how to fix them. Ugly workaround: google "pip <packagename>", you'll find a nice site that has all the python packages. Go to the downloads for the package, download the archive (.tar.gz I think) for the latest python 3 version, then do "pip3 install <filename>"

Couldn't find the website. Somehow I did managed to install pyusb.

I had received the same error, and didn’t think much about it. Sure enough, it worked properly despite that message.

I also had no issue using USB-C -> USB-C on my 2017 MBP.

My cable is USB C 2.0. Could that be it?
