There is no racism in it... It is closely linked to Japanese history and culture though, so it wouldn't fit well with the Americanised Ace Attorney series as it was released in the west. It also used Sherlock Holmes as a main character when he is heavily copyrighted in Western countries. They therefore would be unable to release it there.

The idea of "national character" is really strong in this game, like all Russians are like X, all Japanese are like Y, etc. And there's a lot of Europeans acting very derisively towards Japanese and your character mostly sucking it up. Its fairly accurate to the period, although probably a bit too accurate to how things are seen in contemporary Japan as well.

• Is Luma3DS outdated? > update, as described in the patch instructions
• Is the DGS2-Patcher.firm in sd:/luma/payloads/?
• Is there a boot.firm in the root of your SD Card? If not, it will boot from the one in your internal NAND and use the payload folder in your internal NAND. Get the most recent Luma3DS version and put the boot.firm in the root of your SD Card to fix.

No i'm on Luma3ds 10.1 and boot.firm in my root of the sd card.
All I get is the GodMode9 Exploder v1.2.1 screen.

Yes for a strange reason it's says Luma3DS v8.1.1....
2 day's ago I updated to 10.1

On the bottom screen it should tell you from where (SD Card or NAND) and how (B9S or A9LH) you've booted. It seems to me that your installation has some problems you may want to fix.
