System transfer with Luma CFW installed

Hello, So today I got some things off the eShop before closure. Namely, Pokemon Bank, Poke Transporter, and Pokemon Crystal version. I bought these from the Japanese eShop. Anyway, I also have Dragon Quest VIII cia on my 3DS LL and 2DS LL, which both have Luma CFW. What I would like to do, but am kind of hesitant to do, is transfer my 3DS LL to my 2DS LL. I heard that the target system's, 2DS LL in this case, data or sd card gets wiped and is overwritten with what is on the source system's, 3DS LL, sd card. The two games and the software I am concerned about, of course, are the Pokemon Bank, Poke Transporter, Pokemon Crystal, and my Dragon Quest VIII orchestra version cia and it's game sav file. I have it backed up already, but what happens to cias after a system transfer? I actually have the same DQ 8 cia and it's sav on both the 3DS and 2DS, I believe. And will all the Pokemon stuff transfer over to my 2DS LL just fine?

Yea that is correct for legit title, for anything that is pirated you have to use like faketik to get them to show up again after transferring, also you can't do system transfer if the source and target system region doesn't match.

I see. Yes. Both of my source and target systems are Japanese, so that won't be a problem. How do I use Faketik. And, will my cia game (DQ VIII) and it's sav file be alright?

There isn't much to say, you just launch it from the homebrew launcher and it should do everything by itself.

backup that save using checkpoint or jksm before ya start doing anything. It will make sure it remains safe.

Yes, run faketik on the 3ds you are transferring data to. chances are that if you transfer pirated software the ticket (if it exists) will not work on the 3ds receiving the data, so faketik will generate a fake ticket to replace the non functional or non existent ticket.
