Capcom are doing a remake of street fighter 2 turbo in HD!!!

Not been able to find many screens.....

EDIT: it's being made for xbox 360 and PS3

in hd? sorry, but i dont really see an advantage to hd pixel art... even if they do vector art, i dont think it would make a big diff... just my two cents

This game is going to be availiable for the 360 console so it's just an improvement...

Should be cool, though I'd rather see Marvel vs Capcom 2 or Capcom vs SNK 2 given the HD treatment, or maybe even a new title altogether like Marvel vs Capcom 3. Heck some characters sprites like Morgan havn't changed since the original Darkstalkers title!

From what I read a while back the sprites and backgrounds have been redrawn so they're not pixely.

XBLA is xbox live arcade, MS's charge for download service. PS3NP is sony's equivilant. I can only dream about a real arcade release of this.

if they made the machine cheaper people would use them. Everything costs a quid now (in UK and norn Iron) so u can no longer go play the arcades for a few hours without it costing tons

Well arcades aren't that dead yet, there was the Half Life 2 in Japan last year and Namco are doing a new Mario Kart GP. Its a shame Capcom don't do arcade games anymore, they ruled back in the 90's would be great if they started making those types or games again for XBLA, PSNP & VC.

Down south maybe. Up North I think arcades are generally a bit cheaper... or at least some good cheap arcades do exist. At the pier in Skegness for example, new machines are normally 50p per credit, though some new machines are cheaper like most light gun games are 2 credits for 50p inc House of the Dead 4 (Deluxe Cab) (and the game hadn't even been out a few months at the time). I havn't been there since last summer but the arcade has some really great machines including Mario Kart GP, DDR Suprnova and Segas full motion Cycraft simulator to name a few. They are lacking in fighting games mind you.

I'm just hoping they get a OutRun 2 SP SDX in for the summer.

best I've ever seen were in lanzarotte was 200pesetas (yeh a while ago about 20p) for all the newer games think it was HOD2 or 3 at the time, and you normally got 2 lives for
old ones like MK2

Well in South End HOD 1 & 2 are about 50p for 2 credits but HOD 3 will cost you a quid but you do get 3 credits. HOD4 is the newest game down there though...sadly and thats a quid for a credit, pretty bad stupid amusement arcade owners!

They're mostly at seaside towns and service station if you goto a regular town you just get slot machines and that.
