I'm wanting to go to town on just my money. Nothing beyond that. So I can collect outfits and things. But wanted input from others people:

1) So apparently I need to be online in order to use any of the shops, which is a nuisance. I tried strong-arming the money amount with Edizon Manually, but when I did that, it let me purchase 1 item, then said 'an error has occurred' and threw me out of the internet. Tried that twice, and then stopped for paranoia reasons.

2) Given that it set my money back to where it should have been after I reconnected, do we think the servers track Sea Snails / cash? Is there an in-game way to earn money offline? Or does anyone have any advice for tweaking my moneys without being online? Research seems to show that they're being very liberal with the Banhammers on Splatoon 3, so I'm treading carefully.

If your coins rolled back it means the server tracks everything.

Anything that is serverside probably is ability chunks, all gear, all tickets, all money, all levels, all lockers/locker items, all weapons, & anything else I left out. The single player story data can be uploaded if you have the NSO subscription.

Source: I have two accounts, which are the exact same, on two separate Switches. The servers-side data was exactly the same on both consoles. I don't know if I am able to play two battles at the same time and to get everything faster, though. I did not want to push it.

I am testing different abilities. This is why I have this set up.

Chinese players seem to be having success modifying gears and chunks.
However, he was banned.

There is also a Japanese player who has modded his money and uploaded a video of him playing a lottery.
I am wondering if he will be banned.
