I'll let you combat your own argument.Roflol hypocrite.no need we can check back in time and see the trend
Pretty sure Sony realized that this trend bit them in the ass with the PS3. They've since taken necessary precautions towards pricing things effectively.
Oh, where's your inside source on this matter?
Oh, I forgot, you don't have one.
Da fuck you talking about?
I was saying they probably "learned their mistake" from by the evidence of an affordable VIta price and the drastically cheaper PS3 Slim. It shows they learned something while you're stating things as fact.
PS3 slim was well into the PS3's life cycle. It was a routine price drop. That's like saying Nintendo's learned their lesson on prices by making their Wii revision cheaper. Components get cheaper to make over time. As for the Vita, sure that could potentially be the start of a new trend. Unfortunately you don't have an inside source to confirm this.Price drops only come if a system doesn't sell well or its far into the system's life. The 3DS only dropped price because it wasn't selling well. I mean how long did it take for a Wii price drop? I actually don't know but I didn't think it was months or even a year after the system launched.
>GenerationSpecs don't dictate what generation a console is in.
For me it's not just specs, but features. If something looks like a last gen console in graphics and feels like a last gen console in features then to me it doesn't count as part of the "next generation".
Basically you can't have a next generation with Kirk at the helm, if you wanted a Star Trek reference.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
The term is lifted from human generations. You know, generation X, baby boomers. Who are you to say someone isn't a particular generation if they don't like the right kind of music or the clothing styles of their time? The word is in reference to time periods. Not Guild's favourite console features,
