sl + sr of both joycons stop working at the same time

Hi all. Both my joy cons sr and sl stop working at the same time. sync button is fine and the light saying they are paired (they can pair vertically). I don't think it is hardware related because it has been both at the same time. I've tested the controls buttons in the Test Input Device inside the nintendo settings and the sl, sr are not recognized (I don't know if they should be)
Im running atmosphere 1.2.4 and the joycons has been updated.
Any idea what it could be?

Did you maybe install something else besides the default Atmosphere?
You could use a test progam on a PC to see whether it's the joycons or the Switch.

Tested with joy-con toolkit and definitely it is hardware related

Just change the flex . N did it very bad , the flex ist very stressed out inside of the joycon.
Do the Led lights on the side work?

SL you can replace it easily, replacing the Flex But SR goes welded on the board, it's replaceable but usually the traces of the switch contacts breaks and need to do 2 jumper wires

you are mixing the L-R shoulder buttons with the SL-SR buttons
