Must be the way you are editting the save file. Make sure you are replacing values not adding.

I'm not sure how Linux work. I think maybe you can use visual studio code to make it work (running the source)

If you extract the file from FTP, make sure that you are getting binary type and not text type.

I think if you put max EXP, it should give you points

I need help with the encryption/decryption tool, which, to my knowledge, isn't something I need python for, as it is not listed in the requirements. I am having no issues with the save editor itself.
