Nintendo is hyping up the world premiere of the second-ever trailer for the upcoming Super Mario Bros. movie. It'll be shown off in a Direct specifically dedicated to the film, with Nintendo specifying that no info on games will be included in this Direct. The video will go live later today, at 2 pm PT/22:00 UK time.

I can't be the only one upset that Nintendo deliberately chose against Martinet for Chris Pratt to voice act Mario. Dude was so forgettable, I was convinced Mario didn't speak at all in the first trailer.

Or maybe they're hoping jack black carries the movie like Jim Carrey did for Sonic; dunno at this point. Personally I find Black annoying. But I also find Will Ferrell insufferably stupid and yet he slayed it as the voice of megamind. So yeah, maybe jack can indeed be good as Bowser. I just have no hope at all for Mario as long as Pratt is doing it.

Well maybe it’s like expecting Jaleel White to reprise his role in first delayed belated Sonic the Hedgehog live-action movie/Hollywood Film Industry.In original Super Mario Movie Bob Hoskins played Mario. In Hotel Mario someone else voiced Mario and Luigi plumbers videogame/computer game. Anyway I also would love to see Duke Nukem,Jazz Jackrabbit,Jill of the Jungle,Unreal,Unreal Tournament,Commander Keen,Hocus Pocus(it would probably be more like Harry Potter)live-action movies instead of Fortnite Battle Royale live-action movie. How unfortunate that it’s not also Sega Direct(in it’s case that might remake/reboot of the original not just only very extremely belated delayed live-action 3D CGI movie)Id Software Direct,Epic Games Direct,Apogee Software Direct just only Nintendo Direct.
I think Doom already had two videogame/computer game adaptations.

Honestly, voice acting issues aside, the movie looks a lot of fun, I'm actually excited to see this one after the second trailer.
Also is it just me or the French dub actually gave voices that fit better to the characters? lol
I'm genuinely concerned when a dub in a different language sounds better than the original.
