Hacking Safest Place To Sell CFW 3DS XL Without Meeting Up?

Hello:

I've decided I want to sell my CFW 3DS XL because I really do not play it much ever since I hacked my Switch, and really need some extra money. I sold a CFW 2DS XL successfully on eBay to acquire the money for the 3DS. I also sold a hacked Vita on eBay, with no issues.

However, I was recently reading that this is not a good idea. Some people have been sued by Nintendo/Sony, and a lot of people have their listings removed and/or accounts banned.

So I've heard that places like Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace are way safer routes. However, I honestly just hate the whole meeting up thing. Whenever I've done it in the past, I've met some shady characters. Not to mention, they always want to lowball, and in-person negotiation just isn't my favorite thing.

So I was wondering - is there a site that I could sell it on that would be safe, and would allow me to ship it like eBay? Thanks for any tips

Uninstall the cfw and format the console. After formatting your nnid should be removed and you're good to go. I see a lot of people which sell their hacked consoles. And it is fine i think.

Thanks for the tip. I really wanted to sell it with the games on it though, as I was able to sell my modded 2DS XL for $75 more than what I paid for it due to the CFW/games. I may just take a risk on eBay again, but if you have any other sites in mind feel free to share. Thanks again!

I was more so looking for a site which I could sell it on where I can promote it as a CFW 3DS with a bunch of games. I bought my 2DS XL for $125 and sold it for $200 very quickly on eBay due to the desirability of the CFW, so I was hoping to find another site like eBay, only safer. Any ideas are appreciated

Sell on Craiglist with a burner phone number like Google Voice. No picks up at your house and don't go out your way driving too far. Only do transactions at public sit down areas with high foot traffic like in the corner of a Starbucks shop. If a potential client ends up as a no show or tries to low ball, just cut them off. No point hassling with people who won't do business. You set a single take it or or leave it price. You'll know you set it too high if no one buys yours.

If you want to be sneaky selling on eBay, you shouldn't mention having homebrew or custom firmware, except having pictures of all the title icons on HOME Menu. If someone asks you about why you have FBI or Luma3DS updater for example, just say you don't know what they are. You bought this used and didn't really use the system.

Lastly, unless you're in a do or die survival situation where you need money to eat, that's messed up if you're selling pirated games. There's no one stopping you if you do, but just know there's a reason why hacked video gaming systems fall under the grey-black market in most countries. Is the money worth the risk?

Gotcha, thanks for the info. I'll give Craigslist a go. Good idea meeting up at a store - I would feel a lot more comfortable that way.

I'm not in a situation where I need money to eat, but it is a pretty dire situation as I need to come up with money for rent quickly. Otherwise I would love to keep my 3DS as I know I'll get the itch to play it sometime down the road.
