"Safer" Way to Deal With an Error 105-3687

Ok one more question, I was able to get to wiiuexploit.xyz and able to run homebrew launcher, however my wii u is 5.5.6 and every guide I've seen said u should use tiramisu if its this version. Is tiramisu necessary for this firmware version or is it safe to I just run wiiuexploit and get to the launcher like that. Again my wii u is 5.5.6, just want to make sure.
