Hacking Ripping the Sounds from PSMD (Pokèmon Super Mystery Dungeon)

I own a legitimate copy of PSMD, I’ve fully modded my 2DSXL is the summer of 2022 and I’ve wanted to rip the sounds from PSMD for use in my fangame that has elements of PMD. I know how to copy it to GM9, but there’s one problem.


PSMD is 1.7 GB, I have 1.3 GB.

I can’t seem to get enough space to extract the ROMFs, I have considered checking 3DSExplorer or CTRtool, but I’m not entirely sure if it’ll work. Any tips are appreciated!

And you don't have any access to a different SD card? Actually, for future reference, I kind of want to know how to do this too. I believe you could use CTRtool...

Ahhh I thought there might be a an app like ftpiiu for the 3ds...and there is! Here:

You can grab a file from the file system and drag it to your computer from FileZilla via wirelessly. Never tried it, but I'm sure it's good!

Actually, I figured it out! Just go to the top option while on gamecart, there should be a romfs folder with everything inside.
