Homebrew Emulator Retroarch P-uae problem

I found the correct kickstarter files. Renamed them (md5 checksum is correct). According to the retroarch puae manual, i am supposed to put these in the retroarch/system folder.
There was no system folder, so I created one.
Then I copied the files to that location.

When I load the core and look at information, it still says that it is missing the kickstarter files, and the games don't run.

What am I doing wrong?

system folder can be found at [retroarch] -> [cores] -> [system]

take care for correct filenaming of kickstart roms!

Copied the kickstart rom files to cores/system and went into settings and set the bios folder to Cores/system.
Still says its missing.

The kickstart roms have the correct name and md5.
If anyone wants to share their kickstarter roms, feel free to send me a message

EDIT! turns out I just had to delete the *.rom extension.
Working now
