Check out this thread:

first and foremost, back up everything (again...in another place) before we do anything.

The cal0 partition will be the same between your emunand and your sysnand so you can use NXNandManager to make a backup of just that partition and then restore the partition you copied from your emunand to your sysnand.

Remember, if you make backups of everything first we can always get back to this spot and try anything again. Be safe.

The only thing you will need on your sdcard is Lockpick_RCM.bin in /bootloader/payloads

Inject or launch Lockpick and dump your keys. It will place the one you need in /switch/prod.keys.

Then just boot into Hakate, go to Tools and then USB tools, turn off Read Only mode, and export your eMMC GPP.

Plug a USB cable from your PC to your Switch and then run NXNandManager, import your keys and then you should be all set to backup and recover your cal0 partition.

@binkinator I couldn’t read your post because I was a little bit messing up, but I hope something is still not lost;
If I open CFW from sysnand or emunand now I don’t get any clean backup and my firmware number is still 0000
I hope nothing is lost cause if I open my OFW I still get my real serial number; I hope to be lucky I ve found the prod.keys in a old switch folder; should I format and install everything from scratch or what? Now I have NNXandmanager open and my key file; I don’t know maybe format it’s safer…

do NOT format. let's get everything put back before you do such a thing. we need to retain as much of the original unchanged formatting as possible here.

OFW runs on your Sysnand. If you can see your serial number there then everything is as it should be. Please confirm before we go any further.

I try to import my prod.keys on NXNandmanager and it doesn’t read the file; anyway I don’t get why on my OFW looks fine my serial and I can t fix my CFW serial
Post automatically merged:

I confirm I can see my serial still on OFW ;
So I won’t need to edit eMMC GPP or yes?

bingo!

when you boot into Atmosphere (CFW), these two lines hide your Prodinfo/serial number:

blank_prodinfo_sysmmc=1
blank_prodinfo_emummc=1

Here's the info on how it works:

# Key: blank_prodinfo_sysmmc, default: 0.
# Desc: Controls whether PRODINFO should be blanked in sysmmc.
# This will cause the system to see dummied out keys and
# serial number information.
# NOTE: This is not known to be safe, as data may be
# cached elsewhere in the system. Usage is not encouraged.

# Key: blank_prodinfo_emummc, default: 0.
# Desc: Controls whether PRODINFO should be blanked in emummc.
# NOTE: This is not known to be safe, as data may be
# cached elsewhere in the system. Usage is not encouraged.

It's working as expected based upon the configuration you have in the exosphere.ini file.

Your serial number is not removed from your Sysnand...it's just being hidden by exosphere.ini

IT WORKED! Now looks like i have my serial even on my cfw switch i try to update atmosphere and firmware and then i see if i can go online!

Looks like i can get game updates from nintendo! seems good!!

Do i risk something injecting savefiles/using cheats offline?

Another question; i have two nintendo switch and i wanted to sell the one that now has my profile and my saves; is it safe to tranfer them on my cfw one until i buy a new one?

Things you do inside of your Emunand, provided you have dns:mitm and exosphere.ini set up properly, is a much lesser risk.

That said, any time you do things that are not 100% Ninty approved you increase your risk score. Nothing is guaranteed 100% safe once you start hacking. Savefiles and cheats offline are on the extremely low end of the risk scale.

As long as they aren't Online games that Ninty would consider cheating...go for it. Saves are on the very low end of risk.
