I got an r4i gold 3ds from digitopz. I got it yesterday and so far have been impressed with it. It has run all the homebrew and roms I put on it. I would highly recommend it. :-)

Well,i want to say,digitopz is really a trustworthy site i just ordered a supercard dstwo from there,it work fine on my 3ds v2.1.0-3...when i update my card to support the 3ds new version,i met some problems and the digitopz customer service gave me some help.i am happy...I would highly recommend it too...i will get more items in future from there....

Ooh, quick question- does this card record "miami nights" in your 3ds activity log or all separate games?

The log records what the cart pretends to be, so it'd be miami or spongebob, whatever icon it is.

I registered just to thank the OP for this review. My g/f was dropping hints about wanting a DS so I bought a refurbed one and then ordered an R4 Gold. I was worried about dealing with a company in China and a go-between pay site that I wasn't familiar with but I took the plunge. I got the card today and it works like a charm. Thanks for this great review.

the native firmware is a modified verison of moonshell that launches wood to run ANY and ALL .nds roms and homebrew. there really is no reason to use it unless you just want to use the card for multimedia.

Go with the digitopz one, its the newest version out, AND it supports wood r4
