ds emulator is kinda pointless i don't think any dev will have the time to waste on such a project because the ds flashcarts are fairly cheap you don't have to buy DSTwo or these cutting edge flashcarts

that's fine, ill stick with using the emus they have on PC, My Gamestop still sells DS games as well so i could just play them off on my 3ds without the flash carts

This sounds like this could be possible.
I thought i read somewhere that the 3DS stores blocked flash cards in a blacklist, not sure though.

oh, I wonder if it could be as easy as altering the so called blacklist. It would be nice to have more than just DSi mode with my iEvo. I use 3DS firmware 4.1 and my iEvo got the DS mode got blocked but the DSi mode still works, which is almost useless since just about nobody developed for it.

- a system manager. Like the Wii. To change your region and downgrade/upgrade your firmware. (So we can go back to 4.5)


- Something like bootmii


- Eshop access in other regions


- Cia installer (just like wad installer)

- SD LOADER GX just like USB Loader GX

- A much better browser app

- A simple HTML editor/ loader

- A cheat engine like ocarina and action replay


I would be already happy if I have the exploid.

Literally 75% of those won't be possible with this exploit.

I think a save dumper/decryptor so other regions can use programs like PKHex and not just Japanese cartrages also as posted twice before +1 for the cheat engine hopefully will work on digital downloads as well

I'm probably in the minority for this one BUT...

I would really like to see a Virtual Boy Emulator that allows us to play VB roms in glasses free 3D on the 3DS.

I know the majority have negative feelings towards the VB. But I was a Day 1 owner of the VB and really enjoyed playing Mario Tennis and Red Alarm in 3D. My VB has bitten the dust, but being able to enjoy those games again on the 3DS would be awesome!

I'd also like to be able to play a feature length 3D movie on my 3DS.

The Ambassador games aren't using an emulator, but essentially DS mode, a very bare bones virtual machine for the GBA games which I heard, have a myriad of issues. A real emulator would be much better to do.

While they have issues, it also (should) mean(s) near perfect compatibility as it's running on hardware extremely close to the original GBA.

Well, the 3DS has been very "latest" and now that technology is more developed, it could have apps like that are essential for people, for an example a dictionary.

Okay, I fucking want a ds emulator. Serious as hell.

BTW, I really want to enter in the developing scene when this is released, I am a software engeneer, but I have never develop homebrew, how difficult is to learn the ropes of it?

But there's already Cave Story+ and Cave Story 3D?.

I'm not a fan of buying digital content and Cave Story 3D looks awkward since the Cave Story that I know and love is 8-bit. Also, the '3D' has no effect on my 2DS. Besides that, I don't think that Cave Story 3D is worth the price. I would like to have the original game in homebrew form.
