ROM Hack Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon save editor or hex tweaks

Hello everybody,

I wanted to ask something about Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon. Is there a save editor for this game?
Two years ago, there were some threads here about this but I think they didn't get to a solution.

When there's no save editor, do you have any idea how I could tweak the save file with a hex editor?
I did this with Hyrule Warriors Legends before the save editor was released but I guess I would need some clues
about what values to change.

From what I heard, the game is written in a difficult to understand language and therefore no hacker was interested in it.
Powersaves just has a few savegames where you have level 100 Pokemon at the beginning but no item or stat editor.
And since Datel only fulfills requests when there are enough of them, there was never more for this game. It's a pity!

my gamestores can't get it and I had to get a digital copy of it. I know I can a JKSM save and import it to mine.

make a folder with pokemon smd game id in a folder called plugins and put the cheat file in there

sdroot/plugin/GAMEID/cheat plg
then launch ntr cfw then launch pokemon smd a green flsh should appear then press x+y ingame to access cheat menu

ok I need to get that file I don't have NTR CFW I'll have to look it up sorry complete newbie yet.

I don't understand what that is, too. Is this usable with the newest N3DS update? Is that a program for the homebrew launcher?
A step by step tutorial would be nice because this seems to be somewhat difficult. I can use oothax to reach the homebrew launcher
but what comes next?

https://github.com/44670/BootNTR/releases this is ntr cfw download it extract it on your sd card then use fbi or any cia installer program to intall it to your 3ds the launch it it will run automaticly and exit then press x+y and a menu should pop up

Do I load both of them in with FBI and put the ntr.n3ds.bin and ntr.o3ds.bin somewhere???

No save editor yet. Best we have are RAM and ROM editors.

Realistically, a save editor isn't going to be seen any time soon. (Although I would like to look more into it when I have time, which certainly won't happen for a while.)

you need to get cfw best way is https://3ds.guide/flashing-ntrboot-(3ds-single-system).html but you need to get a flashcart for it tho unless you can use sysdowngrader but not to sure

Yes to which? I was going to put the:

• 536 KBBootNTR-Mode3.cia
• 536 KBBootNTR.cia

in the CIA files and load both with FBI

and then put the:
ntr.n3ds.bin and ntr.o3ds.bin

in the root directory? am I right on that? sorry this is my last question

Actually ok I got in the game and it when I press X+Y it comes up with a white screen, Process manager, enable debugger, set hotkey, take screenshot, rea-time save, cpu clock, power, and screen filter.

so I must of not done everything right.

I only copied the nds.bin cause I was guessing the ods was for old 3ds's? But I am getting somewhere!
