you could try spawn a uxie with a nearby pokemon near the event location using 17a spawn according to pokedex simply by hightlighting no. 225 in pokedex

I accidentally caught a lake pokemon before getting the lake pokemon quest (caught Uxie). Also had the pokedex complete research cheat on. Now when I'm doing the lake pokemon quest, I'm able to catch the other 2 and report them to the professor but Uxie isn't showing up in his cave. How do I fix this?

Thanks for the reply, I figured it out. What I did was edit the pokedex using pkhex and resetted Uxie's pokedex entry.

I know the updates are dependent on what version of the game you're playing. I just had to make sure the version of the cheat I was using matched the update. For me Im playing on Ryujinx PLA update 1.1.0 and most of the cheats work. Only cheats Ive had trouble with are the spawn randomly and spawn according to pokedex
