Gaming Homebrew Passing games onto another SD card entirely

So I still have the issue with Twilight Menu not working and I almost considered actually buying the games I want, but then I remembered I could try using another SD card (as I bought a 32gb one thinking my 3ds didn’t already have one). Is there anything harmful in trying this? Since I’ve only just recently picked up my 3ds again, I don’t really think I’d mind starting over all the games I have… but, I just want to know if it’s worth it? I hardly even remember what it was like when I first got my 3ds… is there any long and difficult processes (like, Nintendo account stuff or whatever)? I’m just a bit scared of doing this…

Edit: Slightly less scared because I just remembered that I don’t think putting in a new SD card makes you reset the whole console, LOL

Just make sure to check the sd card check with h2testw before you start loading it with data, format it as FAT32 32kb clusters and run the test with the "read and verify" setting, it should tell you if it's safe to use.
About your data, just copy/paste them to the root of your new sd card, that's it.
About TWilightMenu++, there's like 3 methods of installing it and you're none of them worked for you?
