Hope you keep working on this, there aren't enough people attempting hacks like this. I really loved the graphical changes and version exclusives in Emerald version and was disappointed to see that the remakes didn't keep those changes

Erm... Heya. I'd like to dump mu OR game but when i launch braindump via Homebrew launcher i get an error message saying (french translated) :
This homebrew exploit doesn't allow application launch under precise titles. Please use another exploit.

What should i do ? Change HB ? Use another method ?

if you are trying to dump your omega ruby save file, so you can go back to it, use something like JKSM, it will dump everything you need to restore your save file. Releases · J-D-K/JKSM · GitHub

I already use JKSM, it's just that when i try to dump the game to patch it with Delta Emerald, i cant do it because braindump doesn't want to work on homebrew launcher

For Homebrew, yes, i updated it yesterday. As for braindump...

after reading the instructions myself, i noticed it said 'alpha sapphire'

you say you're using omega ruby right? if all things check out, i think you might be patching the wrong game?

if you are comfortable with it, you could always go and 'borrow' alpha sapphire(unless you have it already) and see if it works.

Actually it was said that OR was fine as long as you changed the new file to Omega Ruby ID instead of AS, and the issue comes from before touching the patch, so i dont think that's related

yes you're totally right my bad. i don't know why i didn't think of this earlier, but braindump might be discontinued :/

You need to hack your console (with B9S and Luma CFW) to be able to use GodMode9:

No. GodMode9 is the absolute "replace" of Braindump, that is you can dump the .cxi file from a game using GodMode9

But this is precisely what you try to avoid, it's not a .cxi file that you have to export

Oh, ok. GodMode9 is able to dump to a lot of formats. But the guide of the first post is basically obsolete, because braindump and HANS isn't working at all.

Then I definitelly don't know how to do the same with GodMode9 (dump the exactly .bin file), sorry
