Gaming Official Wii U Gameplay - Rayman Legends Revealed

The trailer for the previously unannounced Rayman Legends for Wii U has leaked onto Youtube. The video shows plenty of Wii U related functionality in the game including players placing figurines of characters such as a Rabbid from Rayman and Ezio from the Assassin’s Creed series onto the screen of the Wii U controller, affecting the gameplay in Rayman Legends. The visuals of the game show that the graphics are comparable to those seen on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Rayman Origins.

Wonder if Smash Bros will have the Figurines and you scan the figurines to unlock em if you don't feel like doing the events/single player ... or the RPG thing Sakurai was thinking of implementing in the gameplay.

wut. Nasty graphics? I hope you realize that it is pretty much on par with how Origins looked on the PS360/PC. It's the art-style you have gripes with, not the graphics.

As exciting as that trailer was, why figurines? I hate having to buy extra accessories to enjoy a game to its fullest.

wut. Nasty graphics? I hope you realize that it is pretty much on par with how Origins looked on the PS360/PC. It's the art-style you have gripes with, not the graphics.

By graphics I meant a combination of the art style and hi-resolution. It looks awesome. Sorry for not being specific lol.

They're using an old devkit in the video. The Wii U now supports more than one tablet controller.

And I've been following a certain speculation thread on another site and a person who was verified to have access to a devkit also said that it supports more than one controller (up to 4).

Hmm, if they were using an old devkit, and that demonstration was before modifications were made.....

I read somewhere that the wii u tablet controller would be expensive so you'd most likely have one only anyways.
