NXBlood​

NXBlood is a port of NBlood for the Switch which itself is a attempted Source port of the 1997 game Blood

All credit for the actual port goes to Nuke.YKT for his fantastic NBlood

Note:
this port will soon be continued and with proper controller support

Installation:
- move NBlood.nro somewhere into your /switch folder

• make a folder called nblood on the root of your SD and copy the following files into it or next to the nro
  BLOOD.INI
  BLOOD.RFF
  BLOOD000.DEM-BLOOD003.DEM
  GUI.RFF
  SOUNDS.RFF
  SURFACE.DAT
  TILES000.ART-TILES015.ART
  TILES016.ART-TILES017.ART (One Unit Whole Blood edition only)
  VOXEL.DAT
• start NXBlood

Controls:
Currently you can't change the button mapping ingame

In-game:
Left Joystick - Movement
Right Joystick - Looking around
Left Joystick pressed - Sprinting
Right Joystick pressed - Crouching
A - Use
B - Jump
Y - Use item
ZR - Fire
ZL - Alternative Fire
R & L - Switching Weapons
Up - Holder Weapon
Dpad Left & Right - Switch items
Dpad Down - Toggle Map mode ( does not view map )
Minus - View Map

Keyboard and Mouse are fully supported and you are free to use them

Anyone else having sensitivity issues with the right stick? The game is unplayable with the Pro Controller due to crazy high sensitivity. Haven't played with the config files yet. It did boot up and run on the first try though! Blood is getting a lot of love lately.

- When you die in a level and 'restart' the level doesnt actually restart, it continues as you died but youve lost evertything picked up. This can break levels, say if you had a key.

- You cant move onto the next level as you have to "Press a key to continue" but none of the buttons work.

Edit: Ok, plugged in a keyboard and... it works! Lol was this intended? Save/load states work, options works. You can go back and forth in options and even use the console etc. If this was intended then KEEP IT!

Edit 2: I plugged in my mouse. MY MOUSE WORKS!

Hell, even the eDuke32 port needs updated. The current switch version crashes when docked. And performance can drop often. If overclock was added it would be full speed easily.

A lil' question: I want to change mouse sensitivity option at ingame Settings > Mouse Setup, but I can't exit that menu — is there any ESC button, or another path to change mouse (joycon) sensitivity?..

This is a direct Switch port of NBlood
NBlood is still missing a bunch of Joystick options and I'm working on implementing it
I'll change the values in the next release

Yeah Mouse and Keyboard were intended to work

As previously mentioned NXBlood is a direct port of NBlood which doesn't have any joystick settings yet
I'm working on implementing it myself
