So I heard that nintendont works with nkit isos. Do I just name it game.nkit.iso and follow the same process as a normal iso file for it to work with nintendont? Thanks in advance.
Yes, you don't even need "nkit" in the name, since the GC nkit.iso format is "just" a scrubbed and trimmed* disc image with added information in unused sectors, so it is a perfectly valid GC iso=gcm
* as in the GBA/3DSi definition of "removed empty space at the end", not as in the disc-based consoles definition of "defragmented"
I started the process of Recover to NKit.iso and sure enough have some bad dumps. Many I have are very old, so I'm not surprised by the results and it could be a result of me being clumsy throughout the years with these. This is a great application and thank you for pointing me in the right direction @Ryccardo
