Nintendo hates the Lite!: Can I trick Nintendo to play Switch Sports with my Lite?

Okay, so apparently Nintendo hates all Switch Lite owners now:

I LOVE the Sports Series so this game would have been a must-buy for me. I already was about to pre-order, but now this.

I understand that the game is meant for TV users, but I have my own TV (SysDVR/Raspberry Pi Solution + Joy Cons) for my Lite already, which works quite well!

Now Nintendo is about to lock me out of my favorite game?

What do you guys think will happen? Is this the new "Only available for New 3DS users"? Obviously I won't find out until the playtest starts.

Do you think there will be homebrew solutions / bypasses? As this is not a hardware problem. How is Nintendo going to detect I have a Lite. Will it be by my serial number?

Works flawlessly with Joy Cons on my Lite.

Yes, it's a pity that Lite cannot connect to the TV (so, it doesn't switch). I would have bought it, because it's lighter than the "normal" Switch, but its screen is too small to play games like BOTW, Luigi's Mansion, Xenoblade, etc.
You can play Swiitch Sports on Lite, buying additional Joy-Cons. But, again, the screen size is the limit

I guess the game would start. The New 3DS-only games required a more powerful hardware but the Switch Lite is as powerful as the normal versions

Wait to buy it until someone will check if on Lite boots, but I think that the messages you quoted mean: "You can't play it on a Lite... because you need the Joy-Cons"

They can hardblock the Lite and there will be no legit way to play it. If they don't do that it will be playable (but expansive as you will need to buy joycons and a charger for them).

I have a lite, I can test out for you once the game comes out, just remind me to do so.

Well the game should still work on the lite. I like my switch lite, I do have a regular switch but I still like the lite better, has a regular dpad and comfortable to hold, I mainly play handheld anyway that’s why I like the switch lite. I’m sure the game will work on the switch lite but you will probably want a switch lite stand, also be close enough to see what’s on the screen while playing.

I assume this is more about the fact that you need detachable joycons in order to play it I really doubt they will just fully block it on the lite and just don't want people buying it with a false hope of playing it without extra controllers

That makes sense, however isn't that what the Eshop page (and back of the physicial package) is for? There you can see the handheld option crossed out, which totally makes sense. But to say that it just doesn't work on Lite is weird to me
