When the review embargo for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet lifted, one of the biggest problems both critics and players had with the games was the performance issues. A little under two weeks have passed since then, and it looks like Game Freak is getting around to fixing some of them. A version 1.1.0 patch of the game has been released for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, bringing the first season of ranked battles to the games, as well as patching out select bugs. Included in the patch notes was also an apology from Nintendo, who stated that they are currently working on improvements to the games, in regard to performance problems.

We are aware that players may encounter issues that affect the games' performance. Our goal is always to give players a positive experience with our games, and we apologize for the inconvenience. We take the feedback from players seriously and are working on improvements to the games.

Funny thing about Charizard, a huge part of the fanbase complains at how much its shoved in our faces and how GameFreak seem to always give it special treatment.
Someone did a survey on Reddit a few years back and it got something over 52,000 responses. The most popular pick for favourite Pokemon?

yes they patched the ability to preform the first part of the mount glitch that allows dupe of items

and so if you had not put the cloned ride mon in your party prior to the update then it is "patched out" as of 1.1.0 aside from that? no i didnt see a difference at all.
