ROM Hack Question NHSE Editing River entrance into map

Hello
I've decided to start my island over from scratch, and wanted a different map than the one I chose since starting the game. I wanted to put a new map over my old one so I can still use this file, but I've run into some issues. I imported the file dumps, and everything seems to be working fine? Except when I save my file after making changes to the map it tells me Unsupported Layer2 items detected. I'm not sure what is the cause of that error popping up. And my main question is, I wanted to have the base map that has both river entrances start from the bottom of the map, however when I put these in through acres, in game the terrain where the rivers should flow cant be edited on the land? it behaves like its the exterior where I cant terraform...is it possible for me to change it so I can edit it in game naturally and keep the river entrances there?

Ah! Thank you, the error no longer appears now. Do you have advice on how I can fix the issue with the river entrance? :c

I checked how they are in game, and I cant dig out the river into the mainland :c it just looks like this here..


And i noticed on the east side of my map theres a really noticeable line..should I just change the acre there to fix the 'line'?

Damn pc, i was saying, maybe restarting until you get the map you want, save acres and paste over your map

huh...thats a good idea o.o
What i did before is essentially the same thing, but I used a map dump that was different and thought Id alter it. Okay i think i'll do this later then thanks so much! ill probably update this with result when I have it done.

I have the same issue as well, if i select the layer and save it still gives me the error. What should I do?

Select layer 2, click on erase button and hold shift to delete every item on layer 2 and try to save, if it doesnt work upload your save and i will give it a check
