Hacking new 3DSXL couldn't detect 128GB SD card

hi

one of my friends brought me rand new SNES new 3DSXL, but she bought a 128GB card samsung from amazon.

because the card is 128GB, it's automatically formatted as exFAT, i used mini partition tool wizard to format it as FAT32, and it did.
but the 3DS is not detecting the card, this is not the first time happening to me, couple months ago i also got 64GB card and also the 3DS could not detect it.

i tried cleaning the microSD contacts, but it doesn't fix it.

if the 3DS can't detect it, how godmod will?
is there a PC app that can do that?

i am getting
"Initialising SD card failed! Retry"

yes, it's "Initialising" with "s"

i also have 64GB in my new 3DSXL, didn't get this issue.

I used a windows based formatting program. Not sure what one. But I got my 128gb card working without issues on my N3DS XL that I own.

just converted it from MBR to GPT, nothing changed.

3DS SD card needs to be on MBR, and follow this guide below.

ok WTF? it was on MBR from the start, i convert it to GPT then convert it back to MBR and now it's working, what is the best cluster size for 128GB?
and for 64GB?

32kb, and make sure the partition is set as primary not logical.

Myself I got both sets working on 32kb clusters and they both seem good when used.

Use the minitool partition tool to partition it, dont know what cluster godmode9 set it to, if cluster size is off , it will display incorrect storage on the 3ds vs on computer.

have tried formatting it with GUI format? I have that same micro SD card I normally use GUI format for all my cards never have any issues

i got it dude when u use mini partition tool u need to make it fat 32 and cluster to 32kb and then change partition type id just right click on the sd card in mini tool and it says it right there now when i put my sd card in my new 3ds xl it says 999,999 blocks

i fixed it if u look in what i wrote u can do more than a 128gb sd card
